After learning my husband of 20 years had stage 4 cancer the life I once knew no longer existed. I made a very difficult but meaningful decision to take a sabbatical from the workforce and take care of my terminally ill husband. Eleven months after the diagnosis my husband was gone; the boy I started dating in 7th grade, the father of my children, the man I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with and grow old with was no longer alive. Then the grief journey began but not before I could truly understand the magnitude of the situation. How will the kids and I survive, am I really I single parent now, who am I without the person I have been with for more than 30 years? Through my grief I learned to find happiness, joy, and fulfillment by being grateful for the things I had in the vivid memories that put a smile on my face, the unconditional love that was still present and the blessings that were bestowed upon us as a couple. Learning the importance of gratitude, and how your mind, heart and soul works together gave me the opportunity to navigate through grief with a purpose to share my experience with others. Combining my extensive professional experience in Human Resources and my abundantly captivating personal experience; as a Life Coach I have the unique formula to help others achieve infinite success in their professional or personal life.
